Hi Y'all! This week is about finding your own power, settling a troubled and active mind and - to use the vernacular of millennials - calming your tits.
- Seven of Pentacles - This card indicates a situation that involves patience. You've been busting your ass on something snd you are ready to see if your seedlings have taken root - it's easy to let worry, fear of failure or doubt cloud your day, when you feel like things aren't progressing fast enough. Stand by your hard work and hang in there - recognition and reward for your efforts is coming.
- Nine of Swords - Awww Hell Nah - Why are you making so much trouble for yourself? This card tends to scare people when they see it (because it looks freaking terrifying), no need to fear though - it only turns up when you need to take control of your mental process. There is no 'real' problem here, only your own mind running rampant with negative thoughts and worse-case scenarios. (I call them 'brain raccoons' and they make swift work of ruining your perspective if you let them...)
Focus your thoughts on your victories and reconnect to your spiritual center - send dem brain raccoons out for a long lunch. :)
- The Emperor - This card is here to remind us that we need to possess the attributes associated with the Emperor. Fearless, visionary, noble and assertive - all these things tempered with compassion and a lack of conceit. Once you have settled your mind down to a more positive and calm place, consider the nature of the Emperor and take measures towards mastering your own power.
In summary: Be patient - good things are coming to you; stop making problems for yourself that don't exist - all that anxious energy and effort isn't serving you so knock it off; lead with compassion. Maybe that sounds trite, but if you enter each situation with a fresh perspective and awareness of someone else's feelings (and how you yourself would wish to be treated in their shoes), you will be a better person - I swear.
