Brandon Plain

Brandon and Im an Macro Photographer specializing in high magnification insect and arachnid portraiture and lifestyle. I became interested in exhibiting and highlighting the insect world as I studied various farming techniques in Uganda. We currently operate a Sweet Potato farm there and found several interesting "pests". In a desire not to use pesticides we came up with creative ways to coexist. Thus i started taking pictures of them for identifying purposes and realized how beautiful they really are. They are a wonder to me in their own little wonderverse.

Kim Foster @flwrsetc

After working within the event floral industry for over 7 years, I wanted to find a way to give florals a longer life. Working with pressed flowers for my color palette, I like to create art that veers into the abstract, while still keeping the context of the flowers. I create personal artworks, prints and do custom pressing for bridal preservation or garden preservation. Through my work with pressed flowers, I am able to close the waste gap a little within the wedding industry while also learning the uses and benefits of various plants.
