We are looking for hard-working, detail-oriented and creative people with interests in Art and Science to intern with us here at Oracle! This opportunity applies to students and non-students alike, we are interested in people who are passionate about natural science who would like to learn more about the hands-on work we do here at our shop.
Interns and Apprentices at Oracle have opportunities to learn: Insect identification, preservation, pinning, spreading and framing; bone and skull identification, cleaning and processing; wet specimen preservation; crystal and fossil identification; window and floor display; cataloguing inventory; public speaking; retail floor management and customer service; and more!
We will be available for questions at the KCAI Internship Fair - April 21, from 12:00-1:30 pm, so come say hi and ask us about internship opportunities!
*FYI - this is an un-paid internship, (but you gain hands-on experience in a very unusual field that provides you with super useful post-apocalyptic survival skills).
