This past weekend we had the privilege of attending - as spectators - the World Taxidermy And Fish Carving Championships held in Springfield, Missouri. We knew we were going to see great things, but we were not prepared Y'all. My mind, she is blown
Where do you even start?!?!
It was a wonderful experience - and an incredibly humbling one at that - we met so many talented, world-class taxidermists, all of whom were incredibly generous with their knowledge, happy to promote education in their field of expertise. We also were treated to seeing some of the finest pieces of taxidermy in the world, the sheer volume of beautiful specimens was overwhelming in the best possible way.
We are so inspired by the marriage of art and science that is taxidermy - we are really looking forward to learning more and sharing this Awesome Sauce with you.
