Citrine, with it's bright, sunny coloration is regarded as a crystal of prosperity. Known also as the Success Stone and the Merchant's Stone, it is believed that it has energies of good fortune and can be used to manifest abundance and generosity. This yellow variety of quartz is created by heating amethyst - this occurs naturally in the ground (and can also be made artificially - though we don't care much for that kind of stone).

This beautiful stone is a great one to carry, to wear, to keep in your home or your cash drawer (I mean it can't hurt, right?)
