Hey there! We are pretty excited about this month - as usual we are kicking off December with the First Friday Art Walk, during which time we will have Tarot and Palm Readings by Madison Joy! Fun City, Y'all. We also have a new shipment of beautiful specimens in the store and we will be framing them and placing them in glass domes (all done in shop!) this month! *So, about that stunning Blue Morpho...the iridescent, taffeta-like sheen on the butterfly's wings is achieved via structural coloration. The colors produced vary depending on your viewing angle and light wavelengths because the microscopic scales which cover the Morpho's wings reflect incident light at successive layers, like waves. Pretty neato!
