Happy New Year! How is 2017 treating everyone so far? Let's look at a few cards for this week and see what we got going on!
~ Judgement ~ Now we're cooking with gas! This is what we want, Y'all. The next step towards enlightenment is about transformation and freedom. As we re-evaluate our past actions and our future goals, we are approaching a heightened ability to access our personal power. Judgement is a card of androgynous existence, rebirth and receptivity. It's a pretty big deal, really. It means we have faced our challenges and are receptive to enhance our everyday life by tapping into our spiritual selves and rising above petty, meaningless engagements. It's what we are striving for, the betterment of humankind via personal enlightenment. Lofty goals, indeed....but how can we apply such grand concept in our day to day lives? My short-hand take is, pick your battles, life is too short for bullshit - be selective and use good judgement (ahhhh, see what I did there?) when you decide where to place your energy.
~ Five of Wands ~ Now, we aren't going to get anywhere if our energies are unfocused. This is a card of cooperation, working together to realize a common goal. This card is also about desire (regarding our sexuality as well as creative pursuits) and reminds us to be open to move past personal agenda into a more profound exploration in the world. This is the thing that tends to get in our way, something we need to be aware of and keep in check. Easy peasy.
~ Ten of Cups ~ YISSSSS. This card represents success in all areas of our lives - having a full heart with deep personal satisfaction. If we take what we know about Judgement and Five of Wands and apply those lessons to our daily goings-on, then this is end result. As we go through this week, developing and honing our bs detectors, and quieting our distractions to open up to more meaningful, authentic pursuits - this Ten of Cups is our reward. I know we can do it together.
